GOLFWEEK GOES ALL IN ON FANTASY GOLF
Dedicated coverage includes new columnist, weekly Fantasy Forecast

ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 12, 2015) — Golfweek, the most authentic and authoritative voice in golf, further expands its exclusive fantasy golf coverage with this week's debut of Fantasy Forecast and new fantasy golf columnist Mike Glasscott. Glasscott joins Golfweek with a robust list of radio, broadcast and fantasy sports experience. His new column will supplement Golfweek's staff picks, delivering even more expert tips and analysis to help readers dominate their fantasy golf leaderboards.

"Glasscott adds a unique expertise to our fantasy golf coverage, and I have no doubt that fantasy players will enjoy reading his exclusive insights on Golfweek.com," said Golfweek Editor Steve Harmon. Miceli, 57, has a long, illustrious history working in the golf industry, starting in 1993 when he founded Golf.com. He sold the site in 1999 and in 2000 created the Golf Press Association (GPA) – a golf news service that provides content for various media outlets. In 2005 he joined the Golfweek staff as a senior writer where he has since been covering the PGA Tour and golf industry beats. As group publisher, Miceli will oversee Golfweek's entire portfolio of properties and focus on developing next-level products, businesses and ventures that will continue to expand the brand's overall reach.

Starting tomorrow, Fantasy Forecast will run on Golfweek.com three times each week, and the lineup is as follows:

  • Tuesdays: Tournament preview with the inside scoop on players to watch
  • Wednesdays: Tailored tips for different fantasy game formats, plus a fantasy tip of the day featured on Golfweek.com
  • Mondays: Post-tournament performance reviews of the weekend's winners and losers
  • Fantasy Forecast will also incorporate podcasts and videos throughout the golf season, enhancing Golfweek.com's fantasy golf content with more multimedia offerings.
